Life in the Past
Life in the past in the UAE was harder, electricity wasn’t
always available and
people had to take their naps and showers in the mosque.
Thaloob is one of the men who experienced those days. Thaloob’s family was
originally from Ajman. Meal times were simple, and basic. There were no televisions
or air conditioning but some people who were wealthy did manage to have
electric devices like televisions. Thaloob claims that in the past life was
hard with or without electricity.
